2 PANS kids fighting lyme and coinfections, our journey to healing

Sometimes, a change is all that’s needed!

So I spring cleaned the website – hope you like it ūüėÄ On a side note, things here are not quite working out as well as I hoped, waiting for test results is tedious, time consuming and annoying. ¬†B continues on True Hope and oxytocin, as well as B6, zinc and an adrenal supplement. ¬†Most of the time either the B6 or the zinc, we can’t figure out which yet, is making him really nauseous after several straight days and he is off for a few days every 2-3 weeks. ¬†We also started a trial of Vayarin¬†which was a total and complete disaster. ¬†I then find out that, after years and years of complaining about Omega 3’s making him manic and causing eczema, that a side effect of having kryptopyrrole¬†is that not only does the body not utilize B6 etc., but it is also unable to process, yep you guessed it, Omega 3 fatty acid. ¬†How did it take a Facebook post to point that out to me – and not one of the plethora of people we have ran our son by, even though I have made repeated comments about this? ¬†¬†Sigh, just one more step in the puzzle for us and one more “argghh” for the folks helping us treat him. ¬†Not to take anything away from Neil Armstrong but sometimes “one small step for man, a huge leap for our family!’ runs through on a continuous loop in my head.   Share this:Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new...
